For CEOs and COOs, a costed answer to where AI pays off in your business.

Most management teams have stopped asking whether AI matters and are asking where it pays and what it costs. The 4-week Opportunity Evaluation answers with your own numbers, ending in a costed roadmap and a working prototype.

We then build the systems in your environment, owned by your company, and measure them against what the roadmap promised.

What management teams need from AI work

A return you can see before you spend

Each opportunity sized against your own volumes, cycle times and costs, so that the expected return is stated before anything is built rather than discovered afterward.

Operating leverage

Room to grow without operations headcount growing in step, so that the people you have spend their time on clients, judgment and exceptions rather than re-keying.

Risk you can explain

Systems that keep people accountable for decisions, keep a record an auditor or examiner can follow and earn autonomy only as their accuracy is proven.

No new dependency

Code and data that stay with your company and are documented for your own team, with no per-seat license and no vendor whose roadmap now sets yours.

How we work with management teams

  • We start from where the time and money go

The first call is about the work that fills your operation's week, and the written point of view that follows names the opportunities we think are real and what each is worth.

  • We tell you what not to build

If a product would serve you better, the roadmap says so; the one we built for a top-50 P&C brokerage is saving the firm millions of dollars in vendor fees it did not need to pay.

  • We report in your terms

Progress is reported as hours returned, cycle times, error rates and cost against the baseline taken in the evaluation, rather than as model accuracy alone.

  • We hand it over

Every system comes with documentation, tests, a runbook and training, so the capability stays with your team when we leave.

What you have at each stage

  1. 01

    After the first call

A written point of view within a week, at no cost, naming the opportunities we think are real and what each would take.

  2. 02

    After four weeks

A prioritized, costed roadmap and a working prototype of the top opportunity, for a fixed fee and with no obligation to continue.

  3. 03

    After 1 to 3 quarters

A system in production, in front of real users, measured against the baseline from the evaluation.

  4. 04

    From then on

An Embedded Partner engagement if you want one, for the second and third systems, with your own team taking on more of the work each time.

Questions management teams ask

How much of my team's time will this take?
The evaluation needs interviews and walkthroughs with the people who do the work, plus sample documents and rough volumes. A build needs a product owner on your side and regular reviews with the people who will use it.
Will this mean cutting staff?
That decision stays with you. The systems return hours, and the evaluation sizes them so you can decide whether to grow without hiring, move people onto client work or reduce outsourcing.
What will it cost?
The evaluation has a fixed fee, which you will have after the first call, and its roadmap prices each build against its expected return before you commit.
How do we keep the board and our regulators comfortable?
Each system ships with documented testing, monitoring and a record of every decision it supports, with people accountable throughout, which is what a board, auditor or examiner will want to see.

A senior team that has done this before

We are a small, entirely senior team with fifty years of combined AI engineering, multiple granted patents and Y Combinator founders, from Yale, MIT, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Vista Equity Partners. The people who scope your work are the people who write the code.

Selected work

We built the AI transformation roadmap for a top-50 P&C brokerage, and it is saving the firm millions of dollars in vendor fees it did not need to pay.

Clients include some of the largest banks, RIAs, fintechs and AI labs, as well as a top-3 P&C carrier, a top-10 P&C brokerage, a top-5 trucking brokerage, a leading specialty MGA and a leading trucking MGA.

We run only 3 to 5 engagements at a time, so that every client works directly with the senior team.

A 30-minute call with an engineer usually shows whether something is worth building. Within a week you will have a free written point of view on the two or three opportunities we think are real and what each is worth.
